Coat Check Coffee
Coat Check Coffee is a specialty roaster I had the privilege of working with to construct their branding identity. They are located in the beautifully ornate Athenæum building which is registered as a national historic landmark in downtown Indianapolis, IN.

INITIAL LOGO IDEAS
Design inspiration was taken from an architectural detail original to the building that now overlooks the coffee bar. I mimicked this medallion closely with the first logo concept, then morphed the structure into an increasingly geometric form.
FINAL LOGO DESIGN
The client chose the third option, a happy medium of the two approaches:
ADDITIONAL DESIGN MATERIALS
In addition to the logo, I created a branding guide detailing type choices, color palette, logo treatment, and sample business cards.
FINISHING TOUCHES
At the end of the project I was asked to create a simple & responsive landing page for the coffee house.
